Big construction plans at Florida College

Seminole State College is seeking $260.3 million in state funding for new construction, remodeling and renovations at its four campuses.

The work will include a new $27 million fine arts auditorium and a $27.7 million student center on its Sanford/Lake Mary campus, as well as land purchases in Altamonte Springs and Lake Mary. The plan includes $118.6 million in new construction work, $124.3 million in remodeling and $17.3 million in renovations.
